Privacy Policy
LavaComp does not sell details to any third party. However, for the means of delivery we will pass addresses on to our courier. LavaComp will not use your information without you prior consent. LavaComp complies with the Data Protection Act 1998, and any information we have stored about you can be requested at a small charge to yourself.
We do not store any financial or payment details about our customers. For your peace of mind payment is strictly via PayPal or Google Checkout and we do not hold any card details etc. ''LAVA COMP'' will appear on your credit card statements.
Our website creates multiple cookies on your machine which contain session and state information. The information within these cookies does not include any personal or financial information. Our website requires cookies to be enabled in the web browser and in any third party security programs to allow tasks such as registering, logging in, buying items or accessing accounts. Please be aware that should cookies be disabled or blocked by third party software, many of our website's features will be impaired or unavailable.
Third party Internet sites that you can link to from our website are not covered by our privacy policy, so we urge you to be careful when you enter any personal information online. Lavacomp.co.uk accepts no responsibility or liability for these sites. Other companies which advertise or offer their products or services on our website may also allocate cookies to your PC. The types of cookies they use and how they use the information generated by them will be governed by their own privacy policies and not ours.
Please note that some pictures may defer to original products as these are used for illustrative purposes only. However the item will have the full specification and description as stated on the site.
From time to time LavaComp may send you emails asking you to provide feedback about the service you received from us. You can opt out of these emails at any time by emailing enquiries@lavacomp.co.uk and informing us you would like to opt out.
Delivery Policy
All orders over £300 are delivered free of charge by Citylink/ParcelForce/RoyalMail courier service. All deliveries must be checked before signing them to ensure seals have not been tampered with etcetera.
Returns Policy
In the unlikely event that you need to return anything to Lavacomp then please read through the terms and conditions set out below and then email: customer.services@lavacomp.co.uk
GOODS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT: If any of your items were damaged during the transportation from us to you we ask that you report it as soon as possible. There is a 7 calendar day restriction on this and we ask that you check deliveries before you sign for them. For items that are visibly damaged we ask that you sign the carrier's delivery note/docket accordingly, ensuring that you note the particular damage. Items should be returned in their original packaging with ALL accessories, software, and paperwork. Once we have received your items and checked them to make sure everything is present, we will be happy to issue a full refund to you via your original payment method. Please note that it will take up to 28 days for your account to be credited.
ITEMS FAULTY UPON ARRIVAL: If your items are faulty you have a 7 calendar day period in which to inform us of that fault. Items should be returned in their original packaging with ALL accessories, software, and paperwork. Once we have had the fault verified we will be happy to issue you with a replacement or refund via your original payment method. Please note that if an item is found not to be faulty by our technician then we will return the item to you and you will be liable for any transportation costs of the item. Please ensure that you package the product well. We may not accept liability for any goods damaged in transit and a replacement or refund may not be offered. Please ensure that the RMA number is clearly visible on the outside of the packaging. Do not write on or otherwise mark the product box or a 10% fee may be charged. Depending on the nature of the product purchased, we will either arrange a courier collection or request that you return the product to us directly. If we have arranged a courier collection of your product, we are unable to specify the collection time, and will require someone to be present when the courier comes. We will only arrange one collection, if you miss the courier you will be required to return the product to us yourself. If we ask you to return the product to us directly, please send it to the address below. Proof of postage is not proof of delivery and you are therefore strongly advised to send your package by registered post or courier and to maintain sufficient insurance to cover the value of the goods.
ITEMS FAULTY WITHIN THE WARRANTY PERIOD: If any of your items develop any faults and it is more than 7 calendar days since receipt and your item is still within the warranty period you will be entitled to a warranty repair. You must contact the manufacturer of your item who will arrange with you a repair or replacement. Please take note of the fact it may take 4 weeks for any repairs to be undertaken depending on the complexities of the problem and also the manufacturer's policy. Details of these policies can be found on the manufacturer's website. All products are covered by the manufacturers guarantee unless otherwise stated. Different manufacturers have different warranty periods and all commence from the DATE OF DELIVERY. This does not affect your statutory rights.
THE GUARANTEE EXCLUDES FAULTS CAUSED BY MISUSE, NEGLECT, OR ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE. BATTERIES AND OTHER PERISHABLE ITEMS ARE ALSO EXCLUDED FROM THE GUARANTEE.
UNWANTED GOODS: All unwanted items must be returned within 7 calendar days in their sealed packaging. The Manufacturer's seal must not be broken. The goods must be returned in plain outer packaging on which the returns reference number must be visible and if possible highlighted. Any labels that get stuck onto the manufacturer's packaging will render the item un-returnable. We will reject it and the item will be returned to you. Any costs incurred by returning the item to us must be paid by you. We recommend you use a courier or registered post. Please include a copy of your invoice. Please note: the goods must be in a pristine and fully re-saleable condition. If the goods are not as new, we reserve the right to reject your return (items may be subject to a 15% restocking fee). Providing all the requirements have been met we will be happy to provide you with a refund within 28 days via your original payment methods.
OPEN-BOX (USED) ITEMS: Our used/open box stock is sold without a manufacturer's warranty. This does not affect your statutory rights.
We do not accept returns for mobile phones unless it is faulty.
